  1. is solidly Democratic on a local level. Coburn’s win in 1994, and subsequent three terms, were the only time in the districts 90 something year history of being represented by a Democrat, and Democrats easily picked it up and held on to it as an open seat in 2000, and 2004.

  2. Republicans had a 12-6 edge in 2006.  Following Zack Space’s win for Bob Ney’s “scandal seat” in OH-18 the new totals read 11 R and 7 D.

    Nice to see you incorporating cash figures.  Good addition.

    OH-15 (open, was Pryce) is one of only 5 GOP-held seats outside Texas where George W. Bush received a lower percentage of the vote in 2004 than in 2000.  This seat is trending Democratic.  (I got that data by scanning through the Presidential results by CD listed on this site (Swing State Project).
